Volunteer Information

To be eligible to serve as a level 1 volunteer you need to submit a: 

  • Completed application 
  • Negative TB test
  • Copy of ID
  • Signed confidentiality agreement 
  • PC290 Megan's Law clearance 

If you would like to volunteer at the school site level as a level 1 volunteer, please contact the office manager. 

 

Level 2 Volunteers: Parents and others who work with students outside of the direct supervision of the certificated employees are required to be fingerprinted for a background check through the Department of Justice and FBI pursuant to Ed Code 35021.3 and Board of Education Policy 1240.

These volunteers often work as a:

  • Club Leader
  • Driver
  • Field Trip Chaperone 
  • Intern
  • One-on-one Tutor
  • Theater Department Helper

 

To be eligible to serve as a level 2 volunteer you need to submit a: 

  • Completed application 
  • Completed Livescan 
  • ID/Driver’s License copy 
  • Negative TB test 
  • Signed confidentiality agreement
  • PC290 Megan's Law clearance

If you would like to volunteer as a level-two volunteer, please complete the application and the school site's Office Manager will contact you once it is approved.
